Your Key Responsibilities Will Include:

  • Collaborative Engineering: Provide geotechnical engineering solutions for SURF projects, collaborating closely with a diverse team of professionals.
  • Site Data Evaluation: Analyze and define site investigations for offshore energy initiatives, ensuring the integration of high-quality data into geological models.
  • Foundation Engineering: Carry out the detailed design and installation of various foundation types, including gravity-based, piled, and suction-installed foundations.
  • Complex Load Analysis: Utilize software tools such as PLAXIS or OPTUM G3 to assess collapse loads for foundations under intricate conditions.
  • Risk Assessment: Perform geotechnical risk evaluations, identifying geo-hazards and assessing ground risk levels.
  • Mechanical Safeguarding: Design and oversee trenching and rock dumping operations, and conduct seabed preparation assessments for product or structure installation.
  • Offshore Oversight: Engage in offshore assignments, supervising site investigations and foundation installations as required.

Your Qualifications and Experience Should Include:

  • Educational Credentials: A degree in Civil Engineering, Geoscience, or Geology with a specialization in Geotechnical Engineering. A Master's degree is a plus.
  • Relevant Background: Demonstrated experience in offshore site investigations, foundation engineering, and soil-structure interaction.
  • GIS Knowledge: Familiarity with GIS data systems such as ArcGIS and ArcMAP is advantageous but not essential.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Strong communication abilities to foster and maintain collaborative relationships and provide guidance.
  • Business Acumen: Capability to prioritize effectively, meet various deadlines, and comprehend business and client requirements.
  • Analytical Skills: High numerical proficiency and exceptional analytical capabilities, with a keen eye for detail and precision.
