Technical Coordinator Role

We are seeking an experienced Technical Coordinator to support our Commercial & Industrial Energy team in delivering smart solutions for a sustainable future.

The successful candidate will work closely with the Project Manager to ensure the successful implementation of energy metering and data collection projects. Key responsibilities include:

  • Identifying technical requirements of clients regarding energy metering and data collection
  • Providing technical guidance on the adoption of technical solutions tailored to client existing energy metering and data collection infrastructure
  • Collaborating with cross-functional and international teams to identify optimal solutions for energy metering and data collection requirements
  • Supporting the Project Manager in successful project execution
  • Preparing and delivering technical reports, proposals, and presentations to stakeholders
  • Defining and documenting energy metering and data collection strategy based on project requirements
  • Monitoring energy data collection processes and providing reporting and early warning to stakeholders in case of issues

Requirements:

  • Experience in energy monitoring systems / solutions
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to assess client needs and provide tailored solutions
  • Proficiency in energy analysis software and data visualization tools (desirable)
  • Knowledge of European energy metering regulations and standards (advantageous)
  • Understanding of IoT solutions for energy metering and data collection
  • Technical understanding of energy metering and data collection systems (e.g. mbus/modbus/etc.)
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in a related field (e.g. Energy Engineering, Environmental Science, Sustainability) (desirable)

Location: Cambridge (3 days) / WFH (2 days)
