About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Locum Bank Support Worker to join our team at SHP. As a Locum Bank Support Worker, you will provide effective day-to-day shift cover that supports the aims of our Projects and encourages the full participation of our clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide support and assistance to vulnerable individuals in our accommodation services, floating support services, refugee resettlement services, and ex-offenders pathway.
  • Work with clients to develop and implement personalized support plans, promoting their independence and well-being.
  • Contribute to the daily running of our Projects, including administrative tasks and maintaining accurate records.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a high-quality service is delivered, meeting the needs of our clients and stakeholders.
  • Participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.

About You

  • You have a strong understanding of working with vulnerable people and the ability to provide practical and emotional support.
  • You possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and colleagues.
  • You are flexible, resilient, and able to work in a fast-paced environment, adapting to changing circumstances.
