We are building a cutting-edge simulation platform using AI agents that stress-test other AI applications. Our Team

Max Ahrens (CEO) holds a PhD in Natural Language Processing from the University of Oxford and has extensive experience in AI research and development. He has worked with leading institutions, including the Alan Turing Institute and the British Ministry of Defence.

Eduardo Candela (CTO) is a renowned expert in AI Safety for Autonomous Vehicles, with a PhD from Imperial College London and an MSc from MIT. He has a proven track record in building state-of-the-art AI products and has worked with top companies, including Tesla and the Bosch Center for AI.

As MAIHEM's Founding AI Engineer, you will play a critical role in developing our AI simulation and stress-testing platform. You will leverage your expertise in building agentic systems, including:

  • 2+ years of experience deploying LLM/ML models to production
  • Strong background in Computer Science, Engineering, AI, Math, Physics, or similar
  • Proficiency in writing production-level code for AI/LLM-based applications
  • Experience with advanced Python workflows, including Pytorch, Langchain/LlamaIndex/OpenAI, Scikit-learn, and pandas
  • Experience implementing predictive machine learning models
  • Experience with GPU management for LLM deployment
  • Experience with pre-training AI models
  • Experience with AWS/Azure
  • PhD in STEM
