Location: Remote (with occasional visits to London and Cheltenham)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Application Support Engineer to join our team on a contract basis. As a key member of our technical team, you will be responsible for providing technical support and guidance to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support and guidance to clients on application development and deployment
  • Analyse problems, test hypotheses, and make informed risk decisions
  • Develop and implement solutions to complex technical problems
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve technical issues
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies

Requirements:

  • Strong technical skills in application development and deployment
  • Experience with Java or similar programming languages
  • Ability to think critically and analytically
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Experience with micro-service architectures, asynchronous messaging, terraform/ansible, or Oracle is a plus
