Security Officer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security Officer to join our team at GBS Global Applied Knowledge. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring a safe and secure environment for staff, students, and campus visitors.
Main Responsibilities- Monitor and control access to college premises, including CCTV and other protective systems.
- Provide a courteous and efficient front-of-house service during college hours, including escort services for visitors and staff.
- Conduct routine inspections of premises and equipment to ensure buildings, valuables, and people are safe and secure.
- Compile accurate incident reports and provide guidance and advice to visitors, clients, contractors, and staff.
- Supervise the door and ensure compliance with health and safety procedures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience in a similar role, with a valid Door Supervisor License (SIA door supervisor).
- Knowledge of security techniques and site emergency procedures.
The Security Officer will also be expected to demonstrate their commitment to GBS values and regulations, including equal opportunities policy, and to their Health and Safety responsibilities to ensure a safe and secure working environment.
