Job Description

Job Title: Plumbing Lecturer

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: £30,612 - £44,091 per annum (dependent on teaching qualifications and experience)

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Plumbing Lecturer to join our team at Think FE Ltd. As a Plumbing Lecturer, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching and training to students in the field of plumbing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver effective teaching in areas such as plumbing, carpentry, brickwork, electrical, and health & safety
  • Provide pastoral care, supporting learners in their personal and academic development
  • Actively engage in college systems, including ProMonitor, to monitor and track student progress
  • Develop and implement curriculum plans to meet the needs of students
  • Assess student progress and provide feedback to improve learning outcomes

Requirements:

  • A minimum Level 3 qualification in a relevant trade (carpentry, plumbing, brickwork, etc.)
  • Experience in the industry or teaching within multi-trades
  • UK Teaching Qualification preferred (AET, DET, DTTLS, PGCE), or willingness to work towards one
  • Enhanced DBS check required prior to employment
