Patient Coordinator Job Description

Role Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Patient Coordinator to join our dynamic team at Henry Schein Dental Recruitment. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth by effectively promoting our services and converting enquiries into satisfied patients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Proactively engage with prospective patients through various channels, including phone calls, emails, and in-person consultations, to introduce them to our clinic and discuss their cosmetic dental needs.
  • Educate patients about the benefits of cosmetic dentistry, explain available treatment options, and provide guidance on the best course of action to achieve their desired results.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with prospective patients by demonstrating empathy, trustworthiness, and expertise, earning their confidence and fostering long-term loyalty to the clinic.
  • Collaborate with clinical staff and treatment coordinators to coordinate appointments, schedule procedures, and ensure a seamless patient experience from consultation to treatment completion.
  • Identify opportunities to upsell additional services or treatments that complement the patient's cosmetic dental plan, maximising revenue and enhancing the patient's overall experience.
  • Maintain ongoing communication with patients throughout their treatment journey, providing updates, addressing concerns, and soliciting feedback to ensure satisfaction and retention.
  • Track and manage leads, enquiries, and sales opportunities using CRM software, maintaining accurate records and following up systematically to progress prospects through the sales funnel.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitor offerings, and market dynamics, conducting market research and analysis to identify opportunities for growth and differentiation.
  • Generate regular reports on sales activities, conversion rates, revenue projections, and other key performance indicators, providing insights and recommendations for optimising sales strategies and tactics.

Requirements:

  • Proven success in a sales or business development role, preferably within the healthcare or cosmetic industry, with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • In-depth understanding of cosmetic dental procedures, techniques, and industry trends, with the ability to effectively communicate the value proposition to prospective patients.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts in a clear, concise manner and build rapport with diverse clientele.
  • Strong customer service orientation, with a passion for helping patients achieve their aesthetic goals and delivering exceptional patient experiences.
  • Motivated by challenge and driven by results, with a proactive mindset and a commitment to achieving and exceeding sales goals.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with clinical staff, administrative team members, and other stakeholders to coordinate patient care and optimise the patient experience.
  • Proficiency in using CRM software, sales automation tools, and other digital platforms to manage leads, track sales activities, and analyse performance metrics.
