Autism Spectrum Disorder Co-ordinator Job Opportunity

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Autism service within NHS Scotland, working closely with the Autism Practitioner to provide comprehensive support services for individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing administrative and patient coordination services, interacting with patients, relatives, carers, GPs, Social Workers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless communication and coordination of care.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing secretarial and administrative support to the Autism Practitioner
  • Coordinating patient appointments and meetings
  • Communicating with patients, relatives, and carers to ensure their needs are met
  • Working effectively within a team environment to achieve shared goals
  • Utilizing office software and patient information systems to manage patient data and communicate with stakeholders

We are seeking a highly organized and communicative individual with excellent problem-solving skills, who is able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have significant secretarial experience, knowledge of medical terminology, and proficiency in office software and patient information systems.
