CAD / CAM Engineer - Sheet Metal required for our client, a well-established Sheet Metal Fabricator based in the Midlands region. Due to ongoing success, they are seeking an experienced CAD CAM Engineer to join the team who holds previous experience with Radan programming software.

The CAD CAM Engineer will be working within a close-knit Design team, and play a pivotal role in the design and interpretation of a range of products using 2D and 3D software.

CAD / CAM Engineer - Sheet Metal Key Responsibilities

  • Reading, interpreting and producing engineering drawings with the use of Autodesk Inventor, AutoCAD and Radan software's
  • Collaborating with Sales Estimator to produce engineering documentation on time

CAD / CAM Engineer - Sheet Metal Requirements

  • Proficient in the use of Radan
  • Previous experience within Sheet Metal Fabrication / Laser Cutting
  • A knowledge of 2D and 3D CAD, ideally with AutoCAD and Inventor
  • Design/ Engineering relevant qualifications desirable but not essential
  • Based in a commutable distance of Walsall
  • Full UK Driving License

CAD / CAM Engineer - Sheet Metal Remuneration

  • Salary: £30,000 to £42,000 - Depending Upon Experience
  • Monday to Friday, 40 hour working week, flexible / negotiable start and finish time
