Site Engineer Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled Site Engineer to join our team at VGC. This role offers an excellent opportunity for an experienced engineer to contribute to a wider team.

**Key Responsibilities:**

* Oversee daily site operations, ensuring work is carried out safely and efficiently.
* Monitor project progress and report any delays or issues to the project manager.
* Collaborate with subcontractors and other stakeholders to ensure adherence to the project schedule and specifications.
* Conduct site surveys, set out control points, and ensure all work aligns with project plans.
* Review and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
* Prepare daily and weekly progress reports.
* Ensure quality control measures are in place and adhere to safety regulations.

**Requirements:**

* Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, construction management, or a related field.
* Proven experience as a site engineer in the construction industry.
* Strong knowledge of construction procedures, equipment, and safety guidelines.
* Proficiency in project management software such as Primavera P6.
* Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Suite.
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
* Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
* Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.

**What We Offer:**

* Salary of up to £43,000 per annum plus car allowance and additional benefits.
