Job Opportunity for Experienced HGV Class 1 Drivers

24-7 Recruitment Services is currently seeking reliable and skilled HGV Class 1 Drivers for a client in the dairy industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering bulk milk to dairies nationwide.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Delivery and Collection Services: Make deliveries and collections to and from businesses, ensuring timely and efficient service.
  • Route Planning: Plan daily routes to optimize delivery schedules and minimize delays.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Conduct daily vehicle checks to ensure compliance with company standards.
  • Transportation Coordination: Work closely with the transportation team to manage delivery schedules and customer expectations.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service by maintaining regular communication with customers and resolving any issues promptly.
  • Training and Development: Attend regular training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge.

Requirements:

  • Qualifications: Must hold a valid UK Class 1 Driving Licence and a current CPC Card and Digital Tachograph Driver Card.
  • Experience: Previous bulk liquid driving experience is desired, with a strong emphasis on delivering loads directly to client sites.
  • Skills: Be passionate about providing excellent customer service, work well under pressure, and possess good geographical knowledge.
