Interim Network Infrastructure Specialist

Are you an experienced Network Engineer looking for a challenging interim role? We have an exciting opportunity for a skilled professional to join our client, a growing organisation in Norfolk, as a Network Engineer on an interim basis.

1. Lead the upgrade and improvement of the organisation's current network infrastructure, ensuring it is modern, efficient, and secure.
2. Configure, manage, and troubleshoot network devices, including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points.
3. Monitor and optimise network performance, identifying areas for improvement.
4. Ensure network security by managing firewalls, VPNs, and following best practices.
5. Assist with the design, implementation, and documentation of network solutions.
6. Conduct diagnostics and performance tests to ensure network health.
7. Maintain up-to-date documentation of network configurations and changes.
8. Support the wider IT team to provide general IT support (1st & 2nd Line) to the organisation.

1. Demonstrable experience of managing company network infrastructure, including the configuration of routers, switches, and firewalls.
2. Strong understanding of network protocols, routing, and security.
3. Knowledge of IT infrastructure and the ability to provide general IT support.
