We are pleased to announce an opportunity for a Facilities Maintenance Specialist to join our dedicated Property Maintenance and Construction Department.

As a Facilities Maintenance Specialist, your primary responsibility will be to perform all carpentry repairs and related multi-skilled tasks for both residential and commercial properties, ensuring a high standard of workmanship while providing exceptional customer service.

To excel in this position, you should possess a flexible mindset and have experience in a property maintenance environment that is both residential and commercial, with a focus on meeting targets.

You will engage with all service stakeholders, acting as a representative of Bernicia, and promoting the positive impact of our work within the community.

Technical Requirements:
It is essential to have a solid understanding of your trade and a comprehensive knowledge of the broader construction industry, including materials, components, building trades, and relevant regulations.

Applicants must hold a City and Guilds Craft Certificate in Joinery or an equivalent qualification. A valid CSCS card is preferred, and a full driving license is mandatory. If on-call duties are required, an on-call retainer will be provided, along with overtime compensation for any call-outs.
