Nurse Practitioner

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered General Nurse to join our team at Oakleaf Recruitment.

Job Summary:

As a Registered General Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to individuals with varying needs due to physical and long-term neurological conditions. You will work collaboratively with our experienced teams to deliver specialist and complex nursing care, including tracheostomy, PEG care, catheter care, wound management, and end-of-life care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess patient health problems and needs, develop and implement nursing care plans, and maintain accurate medical records.
• Administer nursing care to ill, injured, and long-term service users, prioritizing their health and well-being.
• Behave professionally and discreetly at all times, adhering to the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) Code.
• Manage people with long-term health conditions, assessing, diagnosing, planning, implementing, and evaluating interventions/treatments as needed.
• Proactively identify, diagnose, and manage treatment plans for service users with complex needs.
• Prioritize health problems and intervene appropriately to assist service users in complex, urgent, or emergency situations.
• Recognize and work within your own competence level, ensuring safe and effective care.
• Produce accurate, contemporaneous, and complete records of service user interaction and consultation, consistent with legislation, policies, and procedures.
• Support, manage, and guide support workers on a daily basis, promoting a positive and inclusive team environment.
• Continually develop yourself and the role, staying up-to-date with best practices and industry developments.

Necessary Experience or Qualifications:

We are looking for someone who is passionate about caring and helping people. To be successful in this role, you will need:

• A valid NMC Pin.
• The ability to work on a shift/rota pattern.
• The right to work in the UK.
