Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Children's Nurse to join our team in the Children's Assessment Unit/Emergency Department at Colchester Hospital. As a key member of our nursing team, you will provide high-quality, child-centered care and be an advocate for children and their families.

Main Responsibilities
  • Work as an integral member of the nursing team, providing a high standard of child and family-centered care.
  • Be an advocate for children and their families, promoting child focus, family-centered care, and effective liaison with the multi-disciplinary team and other professional colleagues and agencies involved in the child's care.
  • Act as a role model in the delivery of patient care, support, and teach staff contributing to the development of the service.
