We are collaborating with a reputable organization seeking a Compensation Specialist to enhance their team through a long-term contract. This position is ideal for an HR Generalist with strong Excel capabilities and some background in Reward or a Reward/Data Analyst eager to expand their expertise in the Financial Services domain.

The responsibilities encompass various aspects of compensation, including cash remuneration, employee benefits, equity plans, compliance with remuneration regulations, corporate governance, and project initiatives. The role necessitates close collaboration with stakeholders to facilitate the execution and communication of compensation programs, policies, and procedures throughout the organization.

Key Responsibilities

As a Compensation Specialist, your primary focus will be on the data and analytics essential for supporting all facets of the annual compensation cycle.

  • Collecting and analyzing market data compensation surveys to inform the compensation cycle
  • Managing incentive accrual documentation within the Finance department
  • Overseeing and enhancing employee job matching and benchmarking processes
  • Updating and refining procedures related to Reward Systems and databases
  • Assisting in the preparation and analysis of various annual regulatory reports, including Gender and Ethnicity Pay Gap assessments and Real Living Wage monitoring
  • Collaborating with the broader HR team to provide technical reward guidance and advisory services
  • Drafting competitive salary and incentive package proposals for new hires and internal transitions, supported by relevant benchmarking data
  • Ensuring all proposals align with diversity and inclusion principles, Equal Pay regulations, and a pay-for-performance culture
  • Additional responsibilities may include preparing employee redundancy and exit documentation
