Howells Solutions Limited is collaborating with a prominent contractor in the Social Housing sector to find an experienced Electrical Qualifying Supervisor. This role involves overseeing a planned and reactive maintenance contract.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the primary liaison between the Technical Compliance Team, NICEIC, SHE, management, and clients as necessary.
- Conduct Risk Assessments for electrical tasks and personnel.
- Review and verify inspection and testing results from electricians promptly, ensuring all safety protocols are adhered to and preventing potential electrical issues.
- Serve as the registered Qualifying Supervisor for the branch, completing any required assessments by NICEIC.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven experience in installing, servicing, and maintaining electrical systems in line with the latest IET Wiring Regulations.
- Experience in supervising a team of electricians, including mentoring and training apprentices.
- Comprehensive knowledge of electrical installations, repairs, inspections, and testing, with the ability to complete necessary Electrical Certificates or Condition Reports.
- Full electrical qualifications, including NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation, Test & Inspect, and 18th Edition.
