About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Economics Educator to join our team at Academics. As an Economics Educator, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive economics curriculum, teaching economics courses at various levels, and fostering a stimulating and inclusive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive economics curriculum that aligns with industry standards and best practices.
  • Teach economics courses at various levels, including introductory, intermediate, and advanced courses, ensuring lessons are engaging, informative, and relevant to students' needs.
  • Foster a stimulating and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation, critical thinking, and collaboration.
  • Assess and evaluate student performance, providing constructive feedback and support to help students achieve their academic goals.
  • Stay current with developments in the field of economics and integrate new knowledge into teaching practices to ensure students receive the most up-to-date education.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the educational experience and support student success, including participating in departmental meetings, contributing to curriculum development, and mentoring junior faculty members.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Bachelor's degree in Economics or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of economic theories, principles, and real-world applications.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to student-centered education.
