New Build Residential Property Solicitor Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced and skilled New Build Residential Property Solicitor to join our team at William James Recruitment. As a leading recruitment agency, we specialize in placing top talent in the legal industry.

About the Role

  • Manage a caseload of new build property matters from inception to conclusion, including sales and purchase, right to buy, shared ownership schemes, and lease extensions.
  • Maintain efficient systems to diarise and ensure all deadlines are met.
  • Demonstrate excellent client care, apply technical knowledge, and communicate complex legal matters in a commercially astute and understandable format.
  • Build lasting working relationships with clients and house builder referrers.
  • Liaise directly with clients, estate agents, and lenders.
  • Develop professional relationships with clients and other potential sources of work.
  • Generate a fee income in line with agreed targets.
  • Manage, supervise, train, and develop support staff.
  • Contribute to the team's business development activities and budgets to drive growth in new build work.

About You

  • Previous experience working on new build purchase and sales matters.
  • Hold a relevant qualification.
  • Commitment to providing an excellent standard of client care.
  • Commercially astute, with an understanding of business targets and their impact on the practice.
  • Experience in assisting with or managing, supervising, training, and developing support staff.
  • Thorough working knowledge of conveyancing practice and procedures.
  • Organized, process-driven, and IT-literate, with experience using a case management system.
  • Credible past and consistent billing/financial performance.
