Job Summary:
The Digital Preservation Coalition is seeking a highly skilled Research Data Specialist to lead our Research Data Management Training programme. As a key member of our team, you will work on a range of projects in our portfolio, including consultancy and EC-funded research projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver specialist technical training to stakeholders in the digital curation and preservation community.
- Contribute to the development of the DPC's programme of skills development and training, building on a programme of activity that stretches through 16 years.
- Collaborate with top-tier research institutions worldwide to develop international networks and expertise.
- Perform or support research in a focused disciplinary area, such as biomedical research or engineering.
Requirements:
- Proven sound knowledge and understanding of the digital curation and preservation community and its stakeholders.
- Significant experience in provision of specialist technical training.
- Experience gained performing or supporting research in a focused disciplinary area.
