Job Summary

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Assistant/Associate Professor of Political Science to join our faculty team. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching undergraduate courses in public administration, statistical analysis, and other related areas. The position is a tenure-track appointment, and the successful candidate will be expected to contribute to the department's research and scholarship initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach undergraduate courses in public administration, statistical analysis, and other related areas
  • Develop and implement new instructional materials and techniques
  • Conduct research and scholarship in the field of public administration
  • Supervise internships and other student projects
  • Collaborate with faculty and staff to develop and implement departmental initiatives
Requirements
  • Ph.D. in Public Administration or a related field
  • Experience in teaching and research in public administration
  • Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in grantsmanship and research
  • Experience in online teaching and learning
  • Ability to teach a capstone course
