The Role: Culinary Specialist

We are seeking a passionate and skilled Culinary Specialist to join our team at Priesty Fields. As a key member of our care team, you will play a vital role in providing nutritious, delicious, and appealing meals to our residents.

  • Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and cook a variety of fresh, home-cooked meals from scratch, adhering to the highest culinary standards.
  • Develop and implement menus that cater to diverse dietary needs and preferences.
  • Manage food ordering and inventory control to ensure efficient operations.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and hygienic kitchen environment in accordance with all health and safety regulations.
  • Collaborate with the care team to provide personalized dining experiences for residents.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience working in a busy kitchen environment.
  • A passion for producing fresh, high-quality food.
  • Strong recipe costing and food budgeting skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Food Hygiene Level 2 or willingness to undertake training.
