Pavilion Recruitment Solutions is pleased to offer a new vacancy for a Business Development Account Handler to join our team. This role is based in an independent brokerage in Wallington, Surrey.

Our client has over 35 years of trading experience and demonstrates a professional and personalized approach to broking. As a Business Development Account Handler, you will play a key role in supporting a Senior broking head within the business, focusing on developing new business relationships for Personal Lines and High Net Worth (HNW) clients.

This role will also provide you with exposure to assisting the team with commercial business policy broking during peak times. You will be responsible for actioning client enquiries, broking risks to market, and liaising with Underwriters. You will then process and issue all necessary paperwork.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Action client enquiries and brokering risks to market
  • Liaise with Underwriters to secure quotes
  • Process and issue all necessary paperwork
  • Manage 20-30 quotes per week, with Gross Written Premium (GWP) ranging from £500 to £150,000
