As a Primary Classroom Assistant, you will be responsible for providing support to teachers and pupils, delivering group activities, and promoting inclusion and acceptance.

Key Responsibilities:

* Supervise and provide support on a 1:1 basis and deliver group activities from the teacher planning.
* Assist with the development and implementation of individual Education/Behaviour Plans and Personal Care programmes.
* Set challenging and demanding expectations and promote self-esteem and independence.
* Provide feedback to pupils in relation to progress and achievement under guidance of the teacher.
* Establish constructive relationships with pupils and interact with them according to individual needs.
* Promote the inclusion and acceptance of all pupils.
* Encourage pupils to interact with others and engage in activities led by the teacher.

Requirements:

* Hold a valid driving licence with access to own vehicle (Essential).
* Be enthusiastic, imaginative, open, and reflective.
* Be friendly, enthusiastic, and reliable.
* Be registered (or willing to register) with the Education Workforce Council (EWC).
* Have an Enhanced DBS (or willing to register)
