About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Facilities Management Supervisor to join our team at Hywel Dda University Health Board. As a key member of our Facilities Management team, you will be responsible for the supervision of cleaning and housekeeping services across our hospitals and facilities.

Main Responsibilities

  • Supervise and manage a team of cleaning and housekeeping staff to ensure high standards of cleanliness and hygiene are maintained.
  • Develop and implement cleaning schedules and rotas to ensure efficient use of resources.
  • Monitor and maintain cleaning equipment and supplies to ensure they are in good working order.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure a smooth and efficient service.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and policies.

Requirements

  • Good level of general education.
  • NVQ Level 3 or equivalent experience, skills and knowledge of cleaning tasks/cleaning supervision.
  • Detailed Food Hygiene knowledge.
  • Health & Safety, COSHH, Moving and Handling, and HACCP knowledge.
  • IT Skills.

Desirable Qualifications and Experience

  • ILM Level 2 Certificate in Team Leading or equivalent.
  • Level 2 Food Safety Award.
  • Coaching/Training Certificate.
  • Supervisory Training.
  • IOSH Certificate.
  • Knowledge of Infection Prevention and Control.
