About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Maths, English, or Science Tutor to join our team at Fleet Education Services. As a Tutor, you will play a vital role in supporting learners in Newham who require dedicated, in-person support to achieve academic success.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality tuition to learners in their homes or schools, focusing on Maths, English, or Science subjects.
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans to cater to the needs of each learner.
  • Monitor progress, provide constructive feedback, and collaborate with guardians/teachers to ensure academic success.
  • Maintain accurate records of tutoring sessions and learner performance through our virtual learning platform.
Requirements
  • Hold a Bachelor's level degree or equivalent qualification.
  • Minimum 6 months UK teaching/tutoring experience.
  • Live and be eligible to work in the UK.
  • Commit to safeguarding and undergo a full Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check and referencing process.
  • Experience supporting students with Special Educational Needs (SEN), Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, and other complex requirements.
