About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Psychologist to join our team as a Consultant Clinical Psychologist. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, contributing to the development and delivery of high-quality psychological services for adults with autism.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the development and implementation of psychological services for adults with autism, working closely with colleagues in the Autism Hubs and other stakeholders.
  • Provide clinical supervision and support to a multi-disciplinary team of practitioners, ensuring the delivery of high-quality psychological services.
  • Contribute to the strategic leadership of the Adult Autism Assessment Service, working collaboratively with other Consultant level psychological staff and the Professional Lead for Psychological Services.
  • Develop and deliver training and guidance on psychological practice, ensuring that staff have the necessary skills and knowledge to provide effective services.

Person Specification
  • Post-graduate doctoral level training in clinical/counselling psychology, with significant experience of working as a registered Clinical/Counselling Psychologist.
  • Professional leadership/management experience, with a track record of developing and implementing effective psychological services.
  • Excellent assessment and treatment skills, with experience of working with adults with autism and other neurodevelopmental difficulties.
