HR Advisor

Job Summary:

Riada Resourcing is seeking an experienced HR professional to join our team as an HR Advisor in partnership with Antrim & Newtownabbey Borough Council. As an HR Advisor, you will provide expert advice and support to HR Managers, HR Officers, and other stakeholders within the Council.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality people advice and guidance to HR Managers, HR Officers, and other stakeholders.
• Support the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with managers and employees to resolve HR-related issues and concerns.
• Conduct research and analysis to inform HR decisions and recommendations.
• Develop and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Provide training and development opportunities to HR staff and other stakeholders.
• Stay up-to-date with changes in employment law and best practices in HR.

Requirements:

• Chartered Institute of Personnel Development (CIPD) level 3 qualified.
• 2 years' working experience in a people-oriented role, including problem-solving.
• Experience of dealing with challenging queries and advising both internal and external customers on issues.
• A minimum of 1 year's working experience in a role that involved inputting information accurately, production of letters, reports, and other documents.
• Excellent digital skills to use a wide range of computerised office systems.
• Displays a positive attitude, including a solution-based, flexible, and enthusiastic approach.
• Ability to work to a high degree of quality, accuracy, and confidentiality.
• Ability to understand and implement policies and procedures.
• Full current driving licence or, if a disability prevents driving, access to a suitable form of transport to enable the duties of the post to be carried out in full.
