Laboratory Technician

We are seeking a skilled Laboratory Materials Technician to join our team at Construction Testing Solutions. As a key member of our laboratory team, you will be responsible for performing a variety of laboratory tests and procedures, including data entry, quality control, and equipment maintenance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform laboratory tests and procedures, including data entry and quality control
- Maintain laboratory equipment and ensure it is in good working order
- Assist with UKAS audits and ensure compliance with quality procedures
- Work collaboratively with the quality department to book in calibration or report equipment failure
- Ensure good laboratory practice and maintain a clean and safe working environment
Requirements:
- GCSE level or above with a good level of numeracy and literacy
- Experience in construction laboratory testing is advantageous
- IT literate
