About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Teaching Assistant to join our team at Great Heath Primary Academy. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the learning and development of our students, working closely with teachers to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support students in the classroom, promoting academic, social, and emotional progress
  • Establish supportive relationships with students, helping to raise their self-esteem and develop a positive attitude to learning
  • Work collaboratively with teachers to plan and deliver engaging lessons
  • Assist with the preparation and maintenance of learning resources
  • Contribute to the overall well-being and safety of students
Requirements
  • Grade C/4 or equivalent in English and mathematics
  • Previous experience in a relatable role within an educational establishment (desirable)
  • Ability to use initiative and work independently
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Commitment to upholding the Academy's vision and values
