About the Role:

Fugro NL Services B.V. is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Site Electrician to join our team. As a key member of our offshore operations, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running and operation of our geotechnical vessels and drilling rigs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the team with the upkeep and day-to-day running of various vessels and drilling rigs.
  • Support the installation/mobilisation of jack-up barges, offshore drills, and subsea drills to project requirements.
  • Perform maintenance and upkeep of electrical equipment to ensure minimal downtime.
  • Work closely with Mechanical/Technical engineers and vessel crew to ensure plant and equipment is kept up and running.
  • Implement improvements and mobilise new equipment as required.
  • Carry out fault finding on electrical systems and complete effective diagnosis or repair work.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Electrician with experience from an industrial or marine background.
  • Approved electrical apprenticeship.
  • NVQ level 3 electrical engineering.
  • City & Guilds level 3 electrotechnical studies.
  • 18th edition.
  • Full clean UK driving license.
  • Experience of 3-phase systems and motors/generators.
  • Experience with carrying out maintenance activities on electrical equipment.
  • C&G 2391 desirable.
