Key Responsibilities

  • Client Collaboration: Meet with clients to understand their business objectives and project requirements, translating these into impactful design solutions.
  • Creative Leadership: Lead the creative process, from developing initial design concepts to final execution, ensuring all work aligns with client needs and our brand standards.
  • Innovative Design: Think outside the box to produce fresh ideas and interactive designs, pushing the boundaries of traditional graphic design.
  • Project Management: Support projects from brief to print, coordinating with external contractors, and ensuring timely delivery within budget.

Requirements

  • Design Expertise: Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat, Powerpoint, Google Slides) on a Mac, with a strong portfolio showcasing your skills in branding, information design, and signage.
  • Creative Problem-Solving: Ability to approach design challenges with creativity and innovation, delivering solutions that are both functional and visually stunning.
  • Communication & Teamwork: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with clients and team members. You're a team player who enjoys working in a collaborative, high-energy environment.
  • Time Management: Strong organisational skills, with the ability to juggle multiple projects and meet deadlines without compromising on quality.

Experience

  • A minimum of 4+ years as a 2D/Graphics designer.
  • A minimum of 2+ years in a similar environment, within a live event agency, or within a studio responding to client requests. Proven agency/studio experience.
  • Ideal, but not essential, some experience of working in a stand alone role.
  • A strong portfolio of graphics and brand communications.
  • A strong understanding of typography and layout.
  • Thorough knowledge of presentation layout in Powerpoint and Slides.
  • Excellent communication skills for liaising with colleagues and clients. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

Work Arrangement

This role is based in Borehamwood (North London), with 2 days remote and 3 days in the office – occasionally onsite. We encourage applications from all backgrounds.
