About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Reliability Maintenance Engineer to join our team at Amazon. As a key member of our Reliability Maintenance Engineering team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our equipment and facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform proactive and preventative maintenance tasks on a wide range of site equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
  • Carry out reactive repairs and fault diagnosis in a live distribution warehouse environment, utilizing your technical expertise to resolve issues efficiently.
  • Utilize the latest tools and technologies to maximize equipment effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Uphold all health and safety policies and practices, ensuring a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues.
  • Support the development and progression of on-site apprentices, providing guidance and mentorship to help them grow in their roles.
  • Work on continuous improvement projects, identifying areas for enhancement and implementing best practices across multiple EU sites.
About the Team

Our Reliability Maintenance Engineering team is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing equipment across our global network of fulfillment centers. We work collaboratively to ensure that our equipment is performing at its best, and that our operations are running smoothly.

Requirements
  • Served a full Engineering indentured apprenticeship and/or qualified to a minimum of NVQ level 3 or equivalent in a relevant Engineering subject.
  • Relevant experience as a qualified engineer, with a strong background in mechanical and/or electrical maintenance.
  • Advanced proficiency in the local language verbally and in writing.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Apprentice Trained, HNC, HND, BSc, BEng in a relevant Engineering discipline.
  • Experience in condition-based monitoring and fault-finding.
  • Experience working with print and apply machines, conveyor systems, and automation equipment.
