Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and communicative Receptionist/Administrator to join our team at Redfern Health Centre.

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, providing administrative support to our GP partners, practice nurses, and other healthcare professionals.

Main Responsibilities

Dealing with patient requests and enquiries over the phone, responding to emails and in person.

Generating repeat prescriptions and performing general clerical duties, including patient registrations, liaising with hospitals, pharmacies, and other care providers.

Booking appointments and reviews, and performing general administrative tasks on behalf of the GP's and nurses.

We are a caring practice with a strong focus on patient care, serving over 5000 registered patients across a large area.

We are a friendly team that values teamwork and collaboration, and we are looking for someone who shares our commitment to delivering high-quality patient care.

Requirements

We are looking for a friendly, confident individual with good IT and communication skills, a good telephone manner, and the ability to use their initiative as a team member.

Experience in the NHS is an advantage, but not essential. If you are a motivated and organized individual who is passionate about delivering excellent patient care, we would love to hear from you.
