The Role

We are seeking dedicated SEMH Learning Mentors to support students' social, emotional, and mental health development. As a SEMH Learning Mentor, you will work closely with teachers, parents, and professionals in partner schools to provide one-on-one and group mentoring to students with SEMH needs.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement individual support plans to promote students' social, emotional, and mental health development.
  • Provide one-on-one and group mentoring to students with SEMH needs, focusing on building resilience and coping strategies.
  • Collaborate with teachers to create a supportive classroom environment that promotes students' emotional and social development.
  • Support students during school activities and events, ensuring their safety and well-being.
  • Liaise with parents, caregivers, and external agencies to ensure a comprehensive support system for students.
Qualifications and Experience

We are looking for individuals with a degree in Education, Psychology, Counselling, Social Work, or a related field. Experience working with children or young people, preferably in education, is essential. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, patience, empathy, and a positive attitude are also required.
