Job Title: Music Director

Salary: £11.44 per hour

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Music Director to lead our church choir. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and conducting musical services, as well as providing musical direction for special events.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and conduct musical services, including hymns, anthems, and other musical pieces.
  • Provide musical direction for special events, such as weddings and funerals.
  • Recruit and train choir members to ensure a high level of musical performance.
  • Collaborate with other church staff to ensure a cohesive and effective worship experience.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Music Director or equivalent role.
  • Excellent musical skills, including piano or keyboard proficiency.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
