Job Title: Financial Planning Analyst

As a key member of the Group Finance Team at Page Outsourcing, this role reports directly to the head of FP&A and plays a critical role in supporting both the business and other finance teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver timely and accurate month-end reporting, business intelligence, and insightful analytics to inform business decisions.
  • Partner with senior management to support the delivery of the group FP&A cycle, including month-end, forecasting, budgeting, and long-range planning.
  • Contribute to business transformation and process improvement initiatives, enhancing internal reporting and KPIs to provide valuable insights to external stakeholders and senior management.
  • Reconcile financial data between different systems and sources, identifying key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to track and measure business initiatives.
  • Design and implement data analysis and reporting tools to support decision-making and manage the preparation of reports by a centre of excellence.
  • Collaborate with financial teams to deliver best-in-class reporting and forecasting processes.

Requirements:

  • Recognised accounting qualification, e.g., ACA or ACCA, with thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures.
  • Experience implementing and improving business and finance processes.
  • Strong analytical skills with a logical approach to problem-solving.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and writing skills.
  • Solid background in accounting, financial planning, budgeting, and financial modelling.
  • Excel expertise.
  • Exposure to business intelligence tools, e.g., Anaplan.
  • Experience working within complex matrix or multi-site corporate environments.
  • Detail-oriented and organised, with the ability to manage multiple deliverables and competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proactive, insightful, and commercially astute.
  • Solid working knowledge of finance systems.
