Residential Childcare Worker

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Residential Childcare Worker to join our team in Leicestershire. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to children and young people in our residential services.
About the Role:- Provide individualized care and support to children and young people, promoting their physical, emotional, and social well-being.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues and external agencies to ensure the best possible outcomes for our service users.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of individual care plans, ensuring that the needs of each child or young person are met.
- Participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.
- Contribute to the upkeep of the residential home, including cooking, cleaning, and maintaining a safe and healthy environment.
- Hold a Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare or be willing to achieve this within the required timeframe.
- Relevant experience working with children and young people, preferably in a residential setting.
- Ability to demonstrate a good understanding of safeguarding and protection of vulnerable children and young people.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with children, young people, and colleagues.
