Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Commercial Gas Engineer to join our client, a leading HVAC service provider operating throughout the South West and the West Midlands. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing expert service, maintenance, and breakdown response to commercial properties, including hotels, NHS sites, educational establishments, and office buildings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out service and maintenance work on commercial gas systems, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards.
  • Respond to breakdowns and emergencies in a timely and efficient manner, minimizing downtime and disruption to clients.
  • Work collaboratively with clients to identify and implement solutions to improve gas system efficiency and reduce energy costs.
  • Conduct site assessments and provide recommendations for gas system upgrades and replacements.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing exceptional customer service and support.

Requirements:

  • Hold ACS Commercial Gas qualifications and relevant industry certifications.
  • Have a minimum of 3+ years' experience in commercial gas engineering, with a strong background in service, maintenance, and breakdown response.
  • Be based within commutable distance to Bristol and have a full UK driving license.
  • Have a strong understanding of commercial gas systems, including LPG and Oftec qualifications.

Benefits:

  • Competitive basic salary of £40,000 to £50,000, depending on experience.
  • Door-to-door travel paid.
  • Standard working hours, 8am - 4:30pm.
  • Van and fuel card provided.
  • Extensive overtime available, paid at x1.5 on all hours over 40 hours per week.
  • Call out rota 1 in 9 weeks.
