Second in Science Leader

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced educator to join our Science department as a Second in Science. This is a new post that will play a crucial role in driving the development of our Key Stage 3 Science curriculum and improving outcomes for our students.

• Lead and manage the Science department's Key Stage 3 curriculum development and implementation
• Develop and deliver high-quality teaching and learning experiences for students up to A Level
• Manage and appraise Science staff, providing guidance and support to ensure excellent teaching and learning
• Take responsibility for the Scheme of Learning and Assessment at Key Stage 3
• Contribute to the development of STEM initiatives and the school's outward-facing approach

To be successful in this role, you will need to be a qualified and experienced Science teacher with a passion for your subject and a commitment to excellence in teaching and learning. You will have a strong track record of delivering high-quality education and a proven ability to lead and manage teams.

You will be an excellent communicator and team player, with a strong understanding of the curriculum and assessment requirements. You will also have a clean driving license and your own transport, as you will be required to travel across the Trust's multiple sites and schools.
