Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Tandem System Engineer to join our team at Tomgandhi Consulting Ltd. As a key member of our IT operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our HP Non-Stop Tandem platform.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Integrate and operate the Tandem platform within our business environment
  • Deploy applications in test, pre-production, and production environments
  • Provide second and third-level support to Production Operations and internal/external business
  • Install and test new releases/products, including IBM MQ, Python, NonStop Webserver, and Batch definition
  • Manage NonStop Security, Database (SQL/MP and SQL/MX), Storage, and System/Application performance analysis
  • Manage NonStop Network and participate in major projects
  • Train newcomers on Tandem technology and perform capacity management and performance analysis
  • Participate in rotational Watch Duty On Call support outside business hours
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent
  • Minimum 5 years of experience on the NonStop Environment
  • Strong knowledge of System Administration and Network Guardian & OSS
  • Programming language skills: TACL, Python, Yaml, Shell Script
  • Strong knowledge of NonStop Infrastructure and tools
  • Deep knowledge in Performance analysis
  • JAVA is a plus
  • Fluent in English
  • Able to demonstrate ability to learn ICT technologies and share knowledge
  • Able to adapt to new circumstances/technologies/procedures
  • Stress resistant and constructive
  • Able to comply with existing standards and attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills, positive attitude, and competitive team-oriented focus
