We are seeking an experienced Repair Planner to join our team at Randstad Construction & Property. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for scheduling and planning repairs, voids, and complex works to ensure efficient and effective maintenance of our properties.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Schedule and plan maintenance tasks, prioritizing and sequencing works to meet deadlines and optimize resource allocation.
  • Communicate effectively with direct operatives, subcontractors, and residents to ensure smooth project execution and resolve any issues that may arise.
  • Manage works-in-progress jobs, ensuring they are within target and appointed where practicable to minimize delays and costs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address maintenance needs, develop maintenance plans, and implement process improvements.

Requirements:

  • Experience in social housing and repair and maintenance, with a strong understanding of building maintenance principles and practices.
  • Basic building maintenance knowledge and skills to perform routine maintenance tasks and troubleshoot issues.
  • Strong written English and computer skills to effectively communicate with stakeholders and manage maintenance records.
  • Good project management and communication skills to lead and coordinate maintenance projects, and build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Passionate about service delivery and customer satisfaction to ensure that maintenance services meet the highest standards of quality and responsiveness.
