Job Title: Graduate Microbiologist

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Graduate Microbiologist to join our team at Randstad Inhouse Services. As a Graduate Microbiologist, you will be responsible for conducting and assessing the practical application of solid-phase cytometry and Next-Gen Sequencing techniques in a manufacturing setting.

About the Role:
  • Conducting and assessing the practical application of solid-phase cytometry and Next-Gen Sequencing techniques in a manufacturing setting.
  • Working with a global, multifunctional team to develop and apply new capability to solve technical challenges.
  • Contributing to overall safety and quality culture in a manufacturing plant lab environment.
  • Developing and applying new capability to solve tough technical challenges.
  • Further development of technical leadership skills.
Requirements:
  • BSc/MSc in Microbiology, Molecular Biology or Bioanalytical, or a closely related discipline.
  • Proven lab focus with experience in a range of modern methods, including cytometry and Next-Gen Sequencing.
  • Experience of generating quality data and statistical analysis in a GMP lab.
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communications skills with clear and concise written and verbal communication.
