We are seeking a proactive and assertive Personal Assistant to support an individual with Autism in various aspects of their personal life. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with a patient and understanding approach.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Relationship Support: Assist in building confidence in social situations, particularly in dating and relationships with men. Offer guidance and encouragement to help the individual become more outspoken and comfortable in conversations.
  • Communication Coaching: Help improve communication skills, offering tips and advice on how to express oneself more confidently and effectively.
  • Travel Planning and Companion: Assist in planning trips and accompany the individual on travels outside the city, including researching destinations and making bookings.

Qualities We're Looking For:

  • Understanding, empathic, and patient with a positive attitude
  • Experience in personal development and coaching
  • Strong communication skills
  • A love for travel and adventure, with the flexibility to accompany the individual on trips
  • Discretion and professionalism in handling personal matters

About the Employer

The employer has Autism, which sometimes affects communication, particularly in situations where people may not be familiar with their communication style. They enjoy art, going to theaters, and socializing in Newcastle. They also appreciate yoga and being outdoors.

Main Duties:

  • Support the individual to develop confidence in social situations by increasing their social circle and attending activities of their choice
  • Work with the individual to reduce anxiety in new situations
  • Engage in activities such as going to the pub and shopping

Requirements:
