We are pleased to announce an opportunity for a Universal Services Coordinator specializing in Enuresis within the School Nursing sector, part of Guys and St Thomas NHS Foundation Trust.
The ideal candidate will become a member of a dedicated team of Universal Services Coordinators (USCs) who assist School Nurse teams in delivering a comprehensive service to children and young individuals across various educational settings.
The team is composed of service managers, school nurses, and public health assistants, all guided by experienced school nurse team leaders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the Enuresis clinics in the designated areas.
- Facilitate and manage the Enuresis alarm clinics.
- Ensure timely processing of communications received via the Enuresis generic inbox.
- Handle referrals and update the department's database accordingly.
- Maintain accurate and timely departmental records.
- Assist in compiling data as needed.
- Prepare and format various documents, including letters, reports, policies, and presentations, utilizing Microsoft Office and other software.
- Coordinate training sessions for the department.
- Provide exceptional administrative support, which may involve scheduling training sessions, reserving meeting spaces, and organizing necessary equipment.
- Support the monitoring and upkeep of clinical equipment.
- Serve as the primary contact for patient inquiries, ensuring excellent customer service and timely assistance.
- Offer guidance to new or less experienced team members on administrative tasks.
- Understand child protection issues relevant to safeguarding vulnerable children and young people.
