AC Automation is seeking a skilled PLC SCADA Networks Engineer to join our team in Belfast and Carrickfergus. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for programming, configuring, and managing PLC and SCADA systems, as well as smart network configurations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Programming of PLC systems for Allen Bradley and Siemens systems
  • SCADA programming and network interfacing
  • Configuration and management of smart networks and IT systems
  • Integration of Ethernet and fibre network engineering
Requirements:
  • Degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
  • Proficiency in PLC programming
  • Strong logical problem-solving skills
  • Full driver's license
Desirable Criteria:
  • Experience with SCADA programming
  • Knowledge of Ethernet and fibre network engineering
  • Hands-on experience with Allen Bradley and Siemens PLCs
  • Background in electrical engineering
  • Experience in the power generation industry
  • Professional membership of the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET)
