Join Our Team in the Transport Sector
At Govia Thameslink Railway, we are dedicated to maintaining the highest standards in our engineering operations.
We are currently seeking a UAT Operator to deliver a Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) service at our Engineering Depot, ensuring compliance with all required standards and specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct Ultrasonic testing on axles at the Engineering Depots and other designated locations.
- Perform various forms of NDT as needed at the engineering depots and other sites.
- Ensure all testing equipment is appropriate for use, calibrated, and readily available.
- Maintain up-to-date personal competency certifications.
- Keep all UAT documentation current and accessible at the depot and other locations.
- Verify that all components are suitable for service after completing NDT/UAT procedures.
- Input all relevant NDT/UAT data into the designated systems.
- Execute general duties as required.
Experience Required:
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in a depot environment.
- Knowledge of rolling stock is essential.
