Job Summary

Menzies Aviation is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Multiskilled Driver to join our team. As a key member of our ground support team, you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks, including de-icing operations, bowser and hi-lift driving, and sprayer operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform tactile checks on all aircraft types
  • Apply deicing fluid to aircraft wings, fuselage, and tail
  • Accurately account for de-icing fluid transactions
  • Perform daily quality control checks on equipment
  • Operate headset/radio to provide communication between ground crew, flight crew, and dispatch

You will have a responsibility and duty while at work to take reasonable care of the health, safety, and wellbeing of yourself and others in accordance with provided information, training, and workplace health and safety rules or procedures.

Requirements

  • Previous experience of cleaning and de-icing procedures is desirable
  • Must have a valid manual driving license and have previous experience in driving 7.5 Ton or HGV2
  • Flexible and service-minded approach to work
  • Attention to detail and ability to always maintain health and safety standards
  • Ability to read, write, and understand a good level of English
