Job Title: Nurse Manager/Ward Manager

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Nurse Manager/Ward Manager to join our team at Kings Norton Hospital, a purpose-built adult mental health service.

About the Role

As a Nurse Manager/Ward Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of nurses and healthcare professionals to provide high-quality care to our patients. You will work closely with the Matron to implement infection prevention and control measures and ensure the safe storage and administration of drugs/medication.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide professional advice, guidance, and support to team members to ensure they are able to assume responsibility for their roles.
  • Contribute to the successful attainment of national quality and safety objectives.
  • Undertake and be proficient in relevant clinical skills and provide/undertake supervision/assessment of other members of the nursing team.
  • Maintain effective communication of patient care and other essential information with internal/external members of the nursing and multi-disciplinary team.
  • Ensure accurate and legible record keeping in accordance with local policies and NMC guidelines.
Requirements
  • A current NMC Pin registration with at least 4 years' experience in a similar environment.
  • A legal right to work in the UK.
  • Evidence of continuous personal and professional development.
  • Passionate about providing high-quality care and the Patient and Carer Experience.
